ANGELINA

Just a few minutes walk from the centre of the island's main town, Villa Angelina is a collection of typical St Barts cottages scattered across three levels of landscaped tropical gardens. Grouped around the infinity pool, with its fascinating view of Gustavia harbour, are the sitting room cottage and another with kitchen and dining room, linked by outdoor sitting and dining areas, which creates a great space for entertaining.

Three bedrooms on the same level, including a spacious master with walk-in closet and a twin room, are housed in separate cottages, each with its own terrace, harbour view and en suite bathroom. But the highlight of this traditional home is its latest addition - a luxurious bedroom suite tucked away at the top of the grounds in a secluded pavilion. Simple sophistication is the style here, with the fabulous views taking centre stage. The en suite bathroom boasts indoor and outdoor showers and a bathtub. A Jacuzzi/plunge pool, daybeds and wet bar, together with seating and dining corners, are all to be found on the huge covered terrace, making an almost self-contained hideaway. You might have to emerge for meals!

Surprisingly private for a property so close to town, Villa Angelina provides lots of space for guests to get lost in a shady corner, but there's also the option of the renowned Shell Beach practically on the doorstep. A great rental choice for a relaxing vacation or a special event.
